I
can't take a booth or a sponsorship at the NHC Expo, but I still
want to participate. Is this possible?
We realize that sometimes, taking a booth at
the NHC Expo isn't possible. Maybe you sell only via the internet.
Maybe the scheduling doesn't work for you. Maybe cash flow is tight
and the travel and exhibiting expenses are too much right now. Maybe
you are a small company just starting and want exposure without expense.
To help you, we've developed 2 programs to help your product reach
the Chicago market.
Sample
Distribution Center, special bins containing your sample
products and an ad banner above the product. Samples will be
distributed and restocked throughout the NHC Expo. This great
cost effective program is available for only $750 not including
cost of product, banner design and shipping. Download
Sample Distribution Center Contract here
Natural Resource Center, prominently
featuring product brochures/restaurant menus/lists of services. A
big wall will feature literature racks that the NHC staff will cheerfully
fill with your 8.5 x 11" one page brochures. NHC families
can peruse the racks and pick brochures that interest them. This
is great exposure at little investment - cost is $250 (plus shipping.) See
the Natural Resource Center Contract in
the exhibitor's section of our web site, or download Natural Resource
Center contract here.

exhibitor manual and why is it important?

money (advance orders are at discounted pricing.) Here's a tip -
keep copies of your orders and bring them with to the Expo in case

Book all travel arrangements as soon as possible to save money and
last minute stress. A list of nearby Chicago area hotels is available

the supply of hotel rooms may be tight. Book early to assure

when your feet hurt!

NHC Expo attendees are provided with an official program, in which

themselves to particular booths. The staff at NHC Expo also encourages
you to do pre-show marketing – postcards, ads, etc. - to alert
your customers where to find you.
Top
• What
kinds of sales can I expect at NHC Expo?
While sales and orders for future delivery will be made at NHC Expo,
many exhibitors find that the contacts they make, and promptly follow-up
on, result in sales and orders long after the show is over. NHC Expo
exhibitors may find that attendees call, or visit their websites,
months after the show and say, “I saw you at NHC Expo.” Additionally,
many exhibitors use NHC Expo as a chance to network with other like
minded exhibitors.
• How can I get help
at the Expo if I have a question, if issues arise, etc.?
You can visit the exhibitor services booth located on the exhibit
floor, or ask a member of the NHC Expo team. We will be around to
assist you with questions, issues, etc.
• What
is the best way to remember potential customers I’ve spoken
with at our booth?
Keep careful, organized, accurate records of everything. Take notes
while talking with visitors: include when you spoke to someone, their
name, phone number, and/or e-mail address, or a particular interest
they had. You will be making contact with a lot of different people,
so anything that helps you remember them will come in handy later.
