science and international relations with a specialization in gender
studies and feminist theory at the University of Maryland, and also
holds Master’s degrees from both the George Washington University
and the University of Maryland. During her graduate studies, Nancy

Motherhood renewed her interest in community building and strengthened
her commitment to natural living, from which the Holistic Moms Network
was born. She and husband Mike are now working to restore their 1906
Queen Anne, which is also home to their first "children" -
B.J. and D.D., two rescued mutts named after the founders of chiropractic

childbirth, and alternative health care.
